Presentation
We will begin with an introduction to what psychosomatic illnesses are, discussing how mental processes can cause or exacerbate physical symptoms and illnesses.
The Role of Stress and Emotions: we will analyze how stress and strong emotions, such as anxiety and sadness, affect children's health, and how psychosomatic reactions manifest in their bodies.
Cases and related research: we will present cases that show the influence of psychosomatic factors on childhood illnesses, highlighting the need for a holistic approach.
Holistic prevention and interventions: we will examine holistic approaches to the prevention and intervention of psychosomatic illness in children.
This includes methods such as psychotherapy, stress management, and healthy eating, physical activity and relaxation techniques.
The importance of family support: we will highlight the critical role of the family in supporting the child with psychosomatic illness. Understanding, love and psychological support from parents and caregivers is vital to the mental and physical well-being of children.
Self-help techniques for children: we will demonstrate ways in which children can learn to manage emotions and stress through self-help techniques such as breathing and relaxation exercises.
Education and awareness programmes: we will highlight the need for educational programmes in schools and the community that focus on raising awareness around psychosomatic illnesses and promoting mental health.
Our seminar aims to raise awareness about psychosomatic illnesses in children and the importance of a holistic approach to prevention and treatment. Through understanding, education and support, we can help children build a healthier future for themselves, both physically and mentally.
